Art is Imperfect

I didn’t always reach for water and ink. When I was younger, I had an amazing art teacher that introduced me to watercolor, specifically because it wasn’t perfect. With watercolor, I found freedom in the imperfections of it. I was also fortunate enough to attend an Urban Sketching Symposium that taught me the value of capturing the essence of what you see. Since then, I’ve been using watercolor and ink with the utmost joy.

I also do custom pieces! Feel free to contact me!

From Landscapes to Furry Friends

Since my first Urban Sketching Symposium back in 2012, I’ve grown to love drawing landscapes, city scapes, and more recently pets. I try to capture the colors and personality of what I’m drawing at the time, while maintaining loose, fluid lines.
